COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update
Phase 2 Appointments Resuming August 2020
UPDATE: Southeast Defense Training holds Phase 2 appointments at the Apalachicola Public Shooting Range, which has recently reopened. In an abundance of caution and out of respect for our staff and community, we have tentatively set August 29, 2020 as our next available Phase 2 range day with appointments.
Public health officials and organizations have stressed that social distancing and restrictions on travel are two major actions that can help "flatten the curve". It is not possible to complete the in person portion of our class while following CDC social distancing guidelines.
Southeast Defense Training will closely monitor the spread and risk of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) will adjust this plan of action if necessary due to health official guidelines. Should the Apalachicola Public Shooting Range close again, appointments will be suspended.
We have been privileged to serve a tremendous community, and we simply could not imagine making a decision to continue classes that could potentially put anyone in our community at risk. Additionally, many of our instructors are considered essential personnel and may be both subject to travel to affected areas and populations, or to being called to work on state emergency operations.
Any class vouchers, gift certificates, etc. with expiration dates will be extended and we promise you will be served despite any expiration dates listed. If you would prefer a refund, please contact us to have it issued. The Phase 1 Online Presentation will continue to be available online for watching or review at any time from home.
